Firstly, I must apologize because I made a couple of mistakes in my last post. I am moving in NOW and my link to my last blog is closed from now because my membership expired. Now that that's cleared up, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Did you all get what you wanted? I did! I got two jellyfish in a tank and a laptop. I will insert an image of my jellyfish (John and Jill, very original) in a bit. My new laptop is a Lenovo G50-45. If you have one, or know someone who has one, then please comment on how well it works and how satisfied you are with it.
I also got some boring stuff, like slippers that don't fit and books that I have and have already read. However, I am definitely not going to do that eBay thing. You know, that advert from eBay that always comes on at this time of year, trying to persuade you to sell your unwanted toys?
Selling people's generous gifts to you -now that's just rude! What happens if they come over and want to see you wearing the new jumper, or eating the sweets? Or if they phone asking awkward question, to which you would probably have to lie "Yes, they were just what I wanted! I wear the slippers every evening." or break their heart and tell them that you sold it. I know that if someone sold my gifts, I would never bother giving them again. Just, maybe, a £5 note (if they were lucky!).
